We live in a day of modern conveniences but still don’t seem to have time to do the things we want to do. Let’s be real. No one ever gets it “all” done.

That long list of things to do is part of the joy and frustration of being a homesteader. When we add the care of the home and family to the mix it can quickly become overwhelming. We could all use a few tips for kitchen and home to help us on our way.

We all like to save money as well. A few dollars saved in one area can go a long way in another.

How often have you been in the middle of a recipe and discovered you were missing brown sugar or didn’t have enough sugar? Come on…I can’t be the only one!

Then I thought, hmm…I’ve shared many kitchen and home tips of my great-grandmother and grandmother with TFL Community, but I know my fellow bloggers have their own awesome tips….

So I asked your favorite bloggers, and mine, to share their tips for kitchen and home with you. They were happy to not only share those but tips on food preservation and life as well.

Here they are! You’re Welcome!

Tips For The Kitchen

TFL Community writes to me all the time to ask me how to make their own brown sugar and what do I do about buttermilk. I decided to write a post to share with you these two popular requests in a printable format. That’s right, just print them out and you’ll always have them.
