Homemade Lip Balm Recipe

Lip Balm Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp of Beeswax
- Two Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
- 2 Tablespoons of Shea Butter
- 1 Tablespoon of White, Dark or Mint Chocolate Chips
- Small clean tins or lip balm tubes
- Over a double boiler or on the lowest setting on your cooktop, slowly melt all the ingredients together in a saucepan.
- Blend well
- Pour into individual lip balm containers leaving the lid off
- Let cool completely
- Place lids on lip balms
- This recipe makes ten lip balm tube

I made these several years ago and the one hanging from my rear view mirror still smells like cinnamon. With just a few ingredients and a cookie cutter you can make these smell-good ornaments for friends and family, just remind them not to eat them!
Cinnamon Ornament Supplies
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Mix Cinnamon and Applesauce together until well blended
- Roll mixture on to a wax paper until 1/4″ thick
- Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter
- Use the end of a straw to put a hole in the top to hang the ornaments
- Place ornaments on a baking sheet
- Bake for 2.5 hours
- Remove from oven and place on drying rack
- Let dry on the drying rack for two more days until all moisture is gone

- Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan
- Remove from heat
- Add remaining ingredients
- Mix thoroughly
- Tape string, yarn or raffia to bottom of cups letting a couple of inches drape over the top of the cup
- Pour mixture into cups
- Place in fridge to completely harden
- Once hard, cut cup and remove the bird seed ornament
- Hang your ornaments outside in trees for the birds and wildlife to enjoy
