Okay, you're making your favorite recipe and you need buttermilk and you have none
0:06
Now, I don't buy buttermilk. We do make it sometimes, but it goes bad before we
0:12
use it all. So, what, how you can do that is, let's just say we need a half a cup
0:17
because that's what, that's a general, that's a half a cup of whole milk, okay
0:22
And then you're going to add to that a teaspoon and a half of apple cider
0:29
vinegar. Now, this is 25%. This is the only brand that we use and it's the only
0:35
brand that's 25% acidity. Everything else is 5%. So, if you're using this one
0:42
you're going to use a teaspoon and a half. And, believe it or not, the cap is
0:46
about a teaspoon. So, that's what I measure with. If you're using a 5
0:52
acidity, go ahead and use two to three teaspoons, okay, of your apple cider
0:59
vinegar. So, here we go. I'm not really exact because that's just the way I cook
1:06
okay? That's about one and a half. Then you're going to stir that up and then you're
1:15
going to let that sit for five minutes. Look at that. See, I don't know if you can tell, but it's already thickening up. Let that sit for five minutes and you have buttermilk
1:29
You can also use a little bit of water. I'm going to use a little bit of water
1:34
because I'm going to be using a little bit of butter. So, I'm going to add a little
1:38
bit of water. I'm going to add a little bit of water. I'm going to add a little bit of
1:43
water. I'm going to add a little bit of water. I'm going to add a little bit of water
